Weight Control and Smoking Cessation
Ready? Good. Let's Begin!

Every day, your thoughts create your mood. You can even change your thoughts by "pretending." After all, during hypnosis, you are imagining or pretending, and the end result is that you think and feel the way you were imagining (even seeing yourself as a non-smoker or as your ideal weight). You can try this experiment. The next time you begin to feel angry or sad, smile, instead. It doesn't really matter that you don't feel happy, you are pretending. You will be amazed at how much better you feel! Smiling
releases an endorphin into your bloodstream, and this chemical makes you feel better instantly. Each and every day from now on, make a decision that you can, and will be happy; smile, and think (and even talk) in a positive way, and good things will happen to you! Make sure that everything you say about your family, your job, friends, and even yourself is positive and uplifting. You are manifesting, or creating your world in the best way possible, not ignoring the negative. If you surround yourself in positive, the negative sometimes will just take care of itself. If you feel good, chances are you will not grab that extra piece of cake, or smoke any cigarettes! Simply feeling good may not work as well for those who over-indulge alcohol or illegal drugs, because they are using mind-altering substances much stronger than cigarettes or food. Can alcoholics or addicts make changes? They certainly can, with more time and a little effort, and the complete understanding that once free, life-long vigilance against restarting destructive habits must be observed. The good news is, any behavior that is begun, no matter how strongly imbedded, can be stopped, and never be a problem in your life again, if that is your true desire.

Increasing Motivation

In order to increase motivation, sometimes, all you have to do is to think of how something would benefit you. If you gained weight after a devastating divorce, you might realize that staying at home, eating ice cream and remaining miserable gets old after awhile. Even your best friends will desert you sooner or later. The best medicine would be to start a new life, and find new interests. But what if you
can't get off of the couch? First, tell yourself that regaining your life does not mean that what happened to you was not wrong! You may have heard the expression, forgive and forget. Forgive, because you remove the toxic subconscious waste that animosity causes, and more importantly, because it benefits you. Forget, because letting go of the memory allows you to move on. Sometimes the attention and pity feels great at first, but unless you shed that defeatist attitude, and the memory that caused it, positivity cannot come into your life. All the attention in the world is not worth remaining unhappy! Let go of your "history." Like yesterdays' news, it is useless. Use the lessons you have learned as building blocks for the future. Secondly, make a list of your short-term goals, and think of it as your road map. Be flexible. Be persistent. Allow yourself the time that it will take to achieve your goal. Third, and most important of all, be patient with yourself. How does hypnosis fit into the picture? Simple - knowing does not mean doing. Hypnotherapy, by sending new messages into your subconscious mind, can help you to make the permanent changes that you want to make - easily, automatically, and effortlessly.

Transforming - Just Like The Butterfly! Like the butterfly, after using hypnosis, you seem to leave an old, useless and unnecessary part of yourself behind. You don't miss it at all. It kept you a prisoner, and now you are free! Don't wait another day to set that butterfly within you free!
